Inspiration

The 10th Anniversary of 9-11 has come to a close.  The memorial that has been placed in Pennsylvania is beautiful and the service was just wonderful.  The fountains at ground zero have exceeded expectations and are truly a sight to behold.

It was wonderful to see the families again 10 years later.  It was inspiring to find out that so many of the children of the victims who were very young then, have grown up to follow in their loved one’s footsteps by becoming firefighters, police officers and military service members.  It is the greatest tribute their children could ever possibly give.  Additionally, it is so heart warming for America to see those kids grown up and giving back.  They are not frozen in that moment.  They are alive, vibrant and giving back to America for all the love and support we have given them the past 10 years.   The were forced to group up quickly that September day when tragedy came to call.  And all of us watching the events unfold wondered what would become of them.

Turns out we didn’t have to worry too much.  The events of 9-11 gave them the same resolve it gave to us adults which is to never let the Terrorists win.  These kids picked up where there parents left off.  And for those kids who joined the military and are now serving in Iraq or Afghanistan, they took their fight right into the lion’s den.  Hearing their stories, this 9-11 did my heart good.  I was filled with pride and hope for the future.

To finish this post, I wanted to remind you of the little things that bring the most laughter.  So, I give you puppy versus lime.  This is awesome!  Enjoy
